An intense burst of creativity and coding where you can bring your wildest technical ideas to life!. You'll work alongside other ambitious builders, experiment at your technical limits, and build something cool.

Yes! Teams of 4 will hack together for the duration of the event. If you already have a team, or partners you'd like to hack with, you can specify this when you register. Otherwise, we'll assign teams together before the event so you can get to know your teammates.
Absolutely! Throughout the entire weekend, we'll keep you fueled with food, drinks, and snacks.
Bring your laptop, charger, and any other hardware you plan to use. A hoodie or small pillow if you plan to take any power naps. We'll provide food, drinks, and a comfortable hacking space.
Yes! This is a true overnight hackathon - you can (and we encourage you to!) stay in Dogpatch Labs throughout the night to keep building with your team. Whether you code until sunrise fueled by our endless supply of coffee and energy drinks, or take a power nap with your hoodie as a pillow - all approaches are welcome. The overnight format is intense, but it's what makes the experience so unforgettable and fun! You're free to leave at any time - our safety team will be available 24/7 to help you in and out of the building. We'll have plenty of staff, security, snacks, and caffeine to keep everyone safe and energized.
Yes - Hack Ireland is for Ireland's top student engineers and builders. With only 150 spots available, you'll need to prove you can build impressive software projects.
